The list below shows Set Top Boxes that TiVo can control. TiVo will automatically change the channel of these Set Top Boxes when it needs to make a recording.

If your box is not listed as being supported then do not dispair! Many new boxes appear and it is usually just a matter of time before support is added by TiVo. You can assist in greatly speeding up this process if you own an unsupported box. For information on how you can help see here.

Digital Cable

	Pace 1000 and 2000 series Supported: You need to purchase an IR adaptor from TiVo Customer Services (08702 41 84 86) to allow TiVo to control this box (it costs £30). With the adaptor use codes 20035 under manufacturer Pace (or 20021 or 20004 if this doesn't work). For the most reliable operation configure your Pace box to have the Now and Next (or Mini-Guide) banner off when you change channels. An update to the user manual explaining the setup can be found here. If you have problems controlling this box see this thread in the forum. Pace 2000 - one user has reported code 20040 under the Fusion brand can control this box without the IR adaptor.
	Pace 4000 series (users in original NTL areas) Supported: use code 20020 under manufacturer Pace. If you have problems try 20042. If you have problems controlling this box and you are in an original NTL area then see this thread. Note users in Original NTL areas have Sky News on channel 121.
	Pace 4000 series (users in ex-Cable&Wireless Areas) Supported: use code 20043, under manufacturer Pace - but select the option to enable the ENTER key sequence. If this doesn't work other codes to try are: 20020, 20025 or 20023. If you have problems controlling this box and you are in an ex-C&W area you may need to purchase the dongle and follow instructions above for the Pace 1000 / 2000 box - for more info see this thread. Note users in ex-C&W (or CoCo) areas will have Sky News on channel 120.
	Pace 4000 series (users in Telewest Areas) Supported: use one of these codes 20020, 20043, 20025 or 20023 under manufacturer Pace - but select the option to enable the ENTER key sequence. 	Sky Digital Boxes Supported: use code 20016 under manufacturer "Sky Digital" for all brands of Sky boxes. This will send the Sky key before each channel change to turn the box on. If you don't want the Sky key sent use 20006 instead (which will speed up channel changes slightly but you may loose recordings if your Sky box crashes and turns off).
	Pace Sky+ Supported: use code 20017 under manufacturer Pace. This will send the Sky key before each channel change to turn the box on. If you don't want the Sky key sent use 20010 instead.

Analogue Terrestrial

TiVo has a built in NICAM stereo internal tuner to support analogue terrestrial services via RF.

Dual Tuner Setups

TiVo supports using a Sky Digital box via the AUX scart socket, with either digital terrestrial or cable via the RF connection. This is a special selection in guided setup. Only Sky Digital is supported via the AUX input, however if you have a Freeview box that allows you to move channels to different numbers, you can fool TiVo by mapping the Freeview channels to the same ones that Sky use, and connecting the Freeview box to the AUX connector. If when doing this you can not find the IR codes for your box in the list, then choose manufacturer "FREEVIEW", and locate the right number for your box (see above).

20009	Pace 4000/4001 (under manufacturer Pace) for users in original NTL areas - Obsolete, use 20020 instead (these codes don't work with radio channels).
20010	Sky+ (under manufacturer Pace). 20017 is recommended instead of this code.
20011	Pioneer onDigital box.
20012	Philips OnDigital box DTX-6370, DTX-6371, and DTR-1500 (now FreeView) (under manufacturer Philips).
20014	Sky Digital with Sky key prepend (under manufacturer Grundig) - Obsolete, use 20016 instead.
20015	Pace onDigital DTR-730 and DTR-735 (now FreeView, under manufacturer Pace). This sends the Sky key which is a mistake (since this isn't a Sky box!). Use 20001 instead (which is identical but does not send the Sky key).
20016	Sky Digital with Sky key prepend (under manufacturer "Sky Digital"). It is recommended that all Sky users should use this. If you don't want the Sky key sent (to make channel changes a bit quicker) use 20006 instead.
20017	Sky+ with Sky key prepend (under manufacturer Pace). All Sky+ users should use this. If you don't want the Sky key sent use 20010 instead.
20018	Pace DTVA (digital TV adapter, FreeView, under manufacturer Pace).
20019	Grundig GDT1000 and GDT1500 (FreeView, under manufacturer Grundig) - Now obsolete use 20022 instead.
20020	Pace 4000/4001 (under manufacturer Pace). Users in original NTL areas use these codes: Do not select the ENTER sequence. If they don't work try 20042. Users in ex-C&W or Telewest areas: these users should select the option to send the ENTER key. If these codes don't work try 20023 or 20025.
20021	Digital Cable Pace 1000 & 2000 with IR adaptor, but you might find 20035 more reliable (try 20004 if 20021 or 20035 doesn't work).
20022	Grundig GDT1000 and GDT1500 (FreeView).
20023	Pace 4000/4001 (under manufacturer Pace) for users in ex-C&W or Telewest areas. Select the option to send the ENTER key. If these codes don't work try 20020 or 20025.
20024	Panasonic TU-CT20 and TU-CT30 FreeView boxes (under manufacturer Panasonic).
