My
Preferences is accessed from the Message
and Setup menu and allows you to set various preferences:
Parental
Controls - allows you to place restrictions on what channels
or programmes can be viewed without a pin number.
Customise
Channels - allows you to set which channels
you receive and which are your favourite
channels.
Audio
Options - allows you to set audio options such as menu sound effects.
Video
Recording Quality - allows you to set the default quality
used to record programmes.
Save
Disk Space - allows you to turn on variable bit rate recording
quality which can save disk space under some circumstances.
TiVo's
Suggestions - allows you to specify whether TiVo should automatically
record its suggested programmes
if the recorder is not being used.
RF
Video - allows you to enable smoothing options for better viewing
when using RF (aerial).
