Message
and Setup
The
messages and setup menu can be accessed from TiVo
Central. It allows various settings to be changed:
TiVo
Messages - allows you to view messages sent from TiVo such as
announcements of new software versions or the addition / removal
of channels.
My
Preferences - allows you to set various preferences.
Recorder
& Phone Setup - allows you to change various system settings.
Troubleshooting
- provides help if you are having problems.
System
Reset - from here you can restart TiVo, and reset settings to
default. You can also remove your thumbing
profile.
Standby
- enters standby mode which blanks the video and mutes the audio.
You can also enter Standby by pressing the standby button on the
remote. Press the TiVo button to come
out of standby.
