You can hear a warble (momentary fluctuation in pitch) in the sound during playback of recordings or when watching Live TV.

Actions
This is a known issue and is described in this bug report (opens in a new window). You should only experience this infrequently - mainly just after using the transport controls (pause, slowmo, fast forward etc).
Unplug your TiVo, then plug it back in again and retest.
If you have upgraded the capacity of your TiVo by fitting new hard drives, these might not be the same specification as the original drives. Try replacing the original drives to see if this cures the problem.
