TiVo Problem Wizard

The sound output from your TiVo is too high or low.

Actions

If you use a SCART connection between your TiVo and TV, then try changing TiVo's audio output level. Navigate from TiVo Central to "Message & Setup", then "Recorder & Phone Setup", then "SCART Settings". Adjust the "TV Audio Level" setting.
If you use a Set Top Box and it has an audio output level (volume) then try different output levels. Usually this should be at the highest setting or just below this (some models have a "best" level, use this).
If TiVo's sound effects are too loud/quiet, navigate from TiVo Central to "Messages & Setup", then "My Preferences", then "Audio Options", then "Sound Effects Volume" and change the setting.
Try a different audio output (SCART / RF / audio out socket).
Increase / decrease the volume on your TV or audio system.

Did this solve your problem?
