TiVo Problem Wizard

You can not hear TiVo's menu sound effects, but you can hear sound when playing back a recording or when watching Live TV.

Actions
Ensure that TiVo's sound effects have not been disabled. Navigate from TiVo Central to "Messages & Setup", then "My Preferences", then "Audio Options", then "Sound Effects Volume". Make sure this is not set to "Off".
Unplug your TiVo, then plug it back in again and retest.
