There is no sound being output from your TiVo (or you only hear sound out of the left or right speaker channel).

Check the connections at the back of your TiVo and the TV. Make sure the SCART is firmly plugged in if you are using this. Make sure the volume on your TV is not muted.
Try a new SCART lead between the TiVo and the TV in case it has broken (such as the one between the Set Top Box and TiVo).
Unplug both your TiVo and TV, then plug them back in again and retest.
If you are using RF between TiVo and TV then try a SCART lead if this is possible. Check that you are using a suitable RF channel on this page (opens in a new window). Try a different RF lead.
If possibly try connecting your TiVo to a stereo system using the audio outputs at the rear to see if you hear sounds from this output. If you do then this indicates a problem with the SCART socket or cable.
