It is important to first know which version of the TiVo™ software your box is using. The software on your TiVo™ box should be updated to the latest version automatically when your box makes a daily call. The latest version of the TiVo™ software is V2.5.5. To find out the version your box currently has, Press the "TiVo™" button on the remote, select "Messages & Setup", scroll down and select "System Information". If you are running an older version of the software, your box may suffer from problems that have already been fixed! Check the fixed bugs list below to see what these might be. Software updates are included as part of the TiVo Service so if you subscribe you should be updated within a day or so.
