MPEG Decoder outputs a double overlapping image even on TiVo menus. On the menus onscreen text is unaffected, but the background MPEG movie has an echo halfway across the screen. Rebooting the TiVo returns it back to normality and recordings made during the problem appear unaffected. This is most likely caused by hard disc errors which cause TiVo to get confused.
