Description: TiVo™ can't control my digital cable set top box.

Some digital cable set top boxes use the IrDA infra-red protocol for controlling the boxes. TiVo™ does not currently support this protocol.

Fixed: These boxes can now be controlled by ordering an adaptor from customer services. Pace 1000 and 2000 (and 4000 for Telewest) series boxes need an adaptor, NTL Pace 4000 users can use the 20009 codes. Make sure you have a recent IR database number via the system info screen - should be at least IR database 99." For digital cable connection information see TiVo's user guide addendum here.
