Description: The brightness flickers when watching programmes through TiVo's™ internal tuner.

This problem only seems to affect viewing when using TiVo's™ built in TV tuner to watch analogue terrestrial programmes. Users have reported bright areas of the screen changing in brightness. This looks like a flickering effect with a sawtooth pattern.

Fixed: This has been fixed in Version 1.5.2 of the TiVo™ software. TiVo™ say: "Some customers have noticed an occasional "shakiness" or brightness fluctuation in the picture, or "warbling" in the sound of certain recordings. The new update substantially improves the picture and sound handling to address these problems."
