It is important to ensure that your TiVo is set to use an appropriate RF output channel to ensure optimum picture and sound quality for both your TiVo's output, and your existing TV channels. This calculator will help you find a suitable output channel for your TiVo. It uses the rule that if a channel x is occupied, then the following channels should not be used: x, x-1, x+1, x-5, x+5, x-9, and x+9.

Please enter the channel frequency positions you have in use. These should be values between 21 and 69. You should already have specified these in the "channels you receive" section of TiVo's setup. Leave the boxes blank if they do not apply - the boxes marked "other" may be used for any other device outputing on a channel (for example your video).
